FLASH – Dayton Commission Sets TechTown in Motion
FLASH – CWDC and the city of Dayton has selected The Architectural Group to design the Creative Technology Accelerator Building. The building will be a 45,000 SF. Building on Monument Avenue and will be the first new construction on the Tech town Campus.
FLASH – The State of Ohio recently awarded the city of Dayton a grant in the amount of $1 million to finance the acquisition of the Tech Town Campus. The city of Dayton has purchased the 30 acres from Peerless Transportation on installments payable as demolition occurs. This grant will allow for possession of the remainder of the Campus and demolition of the remainder of the deteriorating buildings.
FLASH – The University of Dayton Research Institute and its partners recently announced they intend to locate the Third frontier Project – IDCAST at the Creative Technology Accelerator on the Tech Town Campus. IDCAST is a consortium of researchers who will create a world class center for remote sensor research on the Tech Town Campus.
