With the cost of living well below the national average, and an amazing choice of leisure and entertainment options, Dayton is truly a place to call “home.” The downtown district embraces more than 750 businesses; 100 restaurants, bars and nightclubs; dozens of professional arts organizations; and the Dayton Dragons, one of the top minor league baseballs teams in team country.

The residents in the region are strong supporters of the arts. The Dayton Ballet, The Dayton Opera and Dayton Philharmonic enrich the community. The region is also home to several museums including The Dayton Art Institute, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force which draws over 1.3 million visitors per year.

Tech Town is located next to RiverScape. This downtown park system and entertainment venue includes a 70-mile trail system for bikers, runners and walkers. Festivals, concerts, and celebrations are held throughout the year at the pavilion. Metro Parks boosts one of the best trail systems in the country. A recently constructed bike hub facility is ideal for biking to and from work.
