Sustainable Design

The Tech Town campus is being developed with the concept of sustainable design in mind–featuring plenty of green space and pedestrian features integrated with the cutting edge technology infrastructure. The end result is a high-tech office park with a very humanistic attitude.

Smart and sustainable buildings have high floor-to-floor heights and utilize a large amount of glass in the façade. More than just glass walls, these wall systems offer an efficient alternative to more conventional wall build-ups. The buildings also incorporate "green" elements, such as natural lighting, energy-efficient window and door fixtures, and rooftop gardens.

Buildings at Tech Town integrate the U.S. Green Building Council's performance standards for energy saving and sustainable building design into the plan and design guidelines. The goal is to attain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certifications, which are based on a building's ratings for environmental impact.
